HELLO DREAMERS! welcome to our blog! right now we are so happy and excited because finally we will be doing our very first blog! Ericka Joyce Meneses and I, Eliezer John Pestano are partner and we will be helping each other to discuss about the topic that is given by our subject teacher which is sir Rick Campana, sir Rick gave us a 4 topics but we will just choose 1 topic and the topic we choose is “Social Issues Related to MIL” there are a lot of social issues in media literacy but right now we’ll just tackle some issues that is related to MIL, the first social issue we will tackle about is “effects of pornography to the adolescents” but before that, thank you for reading our introduction hope you continue reading till the end of this slide. PORNOGRAPHY

Pornography is the portrayal of erotic behavior designed to cause sexual excitement. pornography has a big impact to a adolescent because their attitudes toward their own and others sexuality change and their sexual expectations and behavior are shaped accordingly it is because their mind are still in the development stage they’re not fully mature to think properly that is why they are experiencing a misinterpretation of reality. I, myself is also a victim or an audience of pornography before, I admit that but when I saw an article telling that pornography has a negative impact to the teenager like me so what I do is I stopped before it get worst. my advice to the teens today is stop watching pornography so you won’t be in a worst situation someday (what I mean in worst situation is you wont follow what you learned on watching pornography).

FAKE NEWS

Fake news, or hoax news, refers to false information or propaganda published under the guise of being authentic news. there is a lot of false information circulating in the internet the purpose of the uploader or publisher why they spread hoax news is for them to earn money, so for you to be not a victim of fake news, always checked the source of the article or be curious and always open mind and lastly don’t forget to report if you encounter a fake news in the internet.

CYBERBULLYING

Cyberbullying is a harassment using electronic and also known, as online bullying and most of its victims are the TEENAGERS. One of cyberbullying examples, includes nasty messages online/phone, online bashing or posting negative/false comments about you. I have few tips for you to avoid cyberbullying, first is to never respond on whatever they have to say, because if you respond, you’re just making the situation worst. Second, do not be afraid to open up to your family/close friends on whatever issues/problems you are facing. And lastly, have a good relationship with God and don’t forget to always PRAY.
